Here is a white pizza with a unique, delicate but intense flavour: a trilogy of mushrooms on a mozzarella base and garnished with a very delicate and very fragrant truffle oil. This pizza has no tomato sauce in order to enhance the taste of the three mushrooms (portobello, cremini and button) and the truffle oil.
If desired, it is possible to add sun-dried tomatoes.
Cremini mushrooms are a good source of vitamin D.
Portobello mushrooms are rich in vitamins B and C and, by virtue of surprising antioxidant properties, protect the skin from damage. They have more potassium than bananas and do not contain sugars: they are therefore suitable for diabetic people.
Button mushrooms (in Italy known as “common Champignon”) are a source of fibers, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins.
